By now, it’s likely that you’ve heard some of the rumblings from the recent City Council Retreat. If not, the News & Record has coverage here, and YES! Weekly has coverage here.
I took a quick moment last night to ask At-Large Councilwoman Nancy Vaughan about her take on the retreat. My question was simply,
“What’s your take on the council retreat? Good, bad or ugly?”
Vaughan’s response,
“All of the above. I do think it’s important to note that we unanimously AGREED on our focus for the next two years (Job & ED, Public Safety and Infrastructure). These priorities will be reflected in our budget process. And, we also agreed that we want to be involved earlier in the budget process.”
